Automated press line for wood-based panels

Automatic panel feeding

The scissor lift table is loaded with stacks of panels using a forklift truck. The panels are separated using an insertion system.

Ergonomic laying station

After the panels have been cleaned by a brushing machine, the panels are glued and then placed together with the decorative materials. The decorative materials are fed in by the system operator.

ODW throughfeed press

The short-cycle throughfeed press offers best possible process engineering conditions. Optimum temperature and pressure distribution means that the shortest possible pressing times can be realised. The pressure is controlled fully automatically according to the actual pressing area occupied.

Automatic destacking

After the throughfeed press, the finished coated panel is stacked fully automatically using a vacuum.

High-performance press line for the production of veneer panels

Feeding area

In combination with an automatic stack feeder, the press system is fed via a high-performance vacuum gantry feeding system. The stacking stations are loaded loss-free via a loading trolley.

Laying area

In this part of the system, the veneer top layers are brought together with the glued carrier boards fully automatically. The system concept offers the shortest cycle times with high-precision alignment, which means that small veneer overhangs can be realised.

Press area

The workpieces are transferred to the respective multi-daylight press by means of collecting and loading baskets. Three 6-stage presses arranged in parallel ensure a continuous process. After the pressing process under optimum pressure and temperature conditions, the workpieces are separated via discharging and separating baskets and fed to the stacking system.

Stacking area

Once the panels have been separated using a multi-level separating basket, they are stacked using the gantry system with integrated inspection function and then transported away for further processing.
