BÜRKLE opens extension in Debrecen

At the same time, we minimize our carbon footprint thanks to the growing localization of the value chain in the supplier sector," says Olaf Hartwig, COO of Robert Bürkle Group and CEO of Bürkle Hungary Kft.

The Management is convinced that Bürkle will strengthen and expand its market position with the expansion of the Debrecen plant. It is important for the Groups and the Hungarian management teams that the Debrecen plant implements the high Bürkle quality standards of a German top machine and plant manufacturer in its daily work.

Jürgen Schröer, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Bürkle Group, points out the importance of Debrecen as an integral part of the value chain within the Group in his welcoming address. "The Debrecen development started in 2019, even after 2022 it will not be over," Schröer says. He promises everyone involved an exciting, challenging, and varied journey. Despite the current adverse political and global economic conditions, the entire Group is on a successful, internationally supported growth track.

In this project the plant in Debrecen plays an important role in the further implementation. "Here at the site, we are keeping pace with the company’s growth. Our most important resource for this are trained and motivated employees," plant manager Gábor Laczkó emphasizes. Therefore, from the very beginning, the colleagues have been trained in the German Bürkle plants. In the meantime, they can pass on the special Bürkle spirit and the high-quality understanding of the German team on site in Debrecen. The constant exchange leads to a high flexibility and secures success and jobs at all Bürkle locations.

After the official addresses and speeches, the guests of the opening ceremony were convinced of quality and variety of the product range of the Bürkle Group during an extensive plant tour. The importance of the Debrecen plant in the multinational organized division of labor of the entire group was mediated.
