The processing of PUR adhesives in laminating technology requires efficient and innovative technologies. The know-how in process engineering acquired over decades is reflected in our PUR line laminating lines. The core components of the roller coating machines and roller presses are uniform across all lines and thus combine individual line planning with modular expandability.

Simple laminating with the PUR easy-Line

Cleaning and glue application

The boards are first cleaned by the brush cleaning machine and freed from dust and contamination. Afterwards, the top side of the workpiece is glued by our RCGT-E glue application machine.

Lay-up area

The sheet stock is made available to the machine operator via the lay-up rack above the transport roller conveyor. This makes it possible to lay the sheets accurately and cleanly in an extremely ergonomic manner. High-quality and consistent surface finishes are thus permanently guaranteed, even for one machine operator.

Pressing on the foil sheets

For the best possible bonding of workpiece and coating material, the panels pass through our roller press after the lay-up area. Any air bubbles, waves or other unwanted surface irritations are prevented by this process and a high-quality surface is guaranteed.

High-performance laminating with the PUR Multiline

Automated feeding

Via a laterally movable vacuum portal, the workpieces are automatically placed from a workpiece stack onto the alignment roller conveyor. The panels then pass through the double-sided cleaning unit consisting of a circular brush unit and a sword brush unit.

Lay-up area

The glued wood-based panels can be laminated in the lay-up area on up to 4 different foil feed options as required. The user is thus free to choose the most convenient feed for each product and material.

Automatic stacking or turning

For high-gloss optics and completely cleaned workpieces, another Sword Brush can be used before destacking. Afterwards, destacking takes place via a vacuum turning arm, which either turns the products by 180° for a second pass or destacks them finally.

Powerful PUR Industrial Solutions

Portal feeding

The panel stacks are fed into the system by forklift via heavy-duty roller conveyors. The vacuum portal system separates the panels and places them on the alignment roller conveyor. From there, the plates are conveyed into the PUR line.

Automatic sheet feeding

After cleaning and one-sided gluing, another vacuum portal places the prepared sheet material fully automatically on the glued workpiece. It then moves on to the roller press to obtain optimum surface bonding.

Workpiece rotation

With the help of our drum turner, the workpiece laminated on one side is turned by 180° and fed into the second strand of the line. There, the coating of the second surface side takes place.

Stacking

Since vacuum suction cups place too much stress on the coated surface, a clamp handle system is used instead. On the hydraulic scissor lifts, finished stacks are formed on pallets for the laminated products.
