Highly automated production lines for lightweight panels from BÜRKLE

Our solutions for the lightweight production comprise our entire product and technology range. In addition to the production of lightweight boards on our fully automated laying and press lines with integrated production of the frame elements and subsequent tailoring of the blanks, our know-how in the field of surface finishing is also used. With our product portfolio, which also includes printing, lacquering and laminating technologies, almost the entire manufacturing process of lightweight boards can be provided from a single source.

Lightweight panel line for BoS with honeycomb core

We offer a wide range of technologies for the production of lightweight panels in order to be able to develop individual line concepts according to customer requirements. This fully automatic production line for BoS, for example, has been designed for a gross line output of up to 4 panels per minute.

Cover layer feed

The top layers are gently separated at the infeed by means of a pusher. The subsequent gluing is carried out with cost-effective and easy-to-handle gluing systems (UF, PVAC, EPI).

Longitudinal bar feeder

The longitudinal bars are fed into the line in stacks. In a second step, the bars are first separated in layers and then in bars. Depending on the configuration, the number of bars per batch can be set individually.

Presses

In our Optima presses, the assembled lightweight panels are finally pressed together. Each press presses 4 lightweight panels in two chambers.

Cooling and stacking

The finished lightweight panels are stacked via a portal handling system. Before this, the panels are cooled in a cooling unit with 24 compartments that can be filled.
